Spiritual Cleansing For Motherhood

Remove your clothes, He Barked at her,
While her mother in law stood beside her, watching and asking her to do exaxtly what the man of "god" said,
Mama, i though you said it was just spititual cleansing, why is he asking me to remove my clothes??
Do as the "man of God" says she screamed at her again..

This is just an idea of what most Nigerian women are facing just in the name of bearing a child..The fear ofnot being able to have children has made women in this country do dreadful things just to concieve, from having sex with soo called "men of God" or prophets.

The above is the length a woman can go just to be called a mother, i am not criticizing , i am overwhelmed by the urge the pain this women go through, when most times, not bearing children may come from their husbands etc


I have been trying to come up with words to quantify and express the love of a mother, something with soo much admiration and gratitude for all efforts they made to the success of our upbringing tc..

I know of some people who dnt celebrate mothers day, probably because of the loss of their mom(death) or because some do not even know their mother or some where not treated rightly... (maltreated, beaten, abuses, chased out of the house, blamed for bringing bad luck to her, raped etc).

We cannot deny the fact that most of these things happen, But remember not all women that give birth are mothers.. Because you have an ability to reproduce doesn't qualify you to cater.. Truth is some women dnt know how..

But if some women think of how impossible it is to some other Mothers who dnt have the ability to put to birth their own child, how these women have lived right and have never experienced being pregnant, they will rethink and appreciate the essence of their existence and gift given them by God..

Today, i appreciate every woman out here, (wife, sister, aunty, cousin, friend,) who has been kind enough to mother another woman's child, who has been struggling to have her's... I join the world today as mothers are being celebrated, So shall you all be celebrated, that the fruit of the womb that proves your womanhood will not be mocked..

You shall reap the fruit of your labors..

And for the mothers in the house, what better way to appreciate you, than to ask that you instill worth in your children, make your daughters know essential she is to this universe, how she is the life source to the next generation of women...
