LOSER by Leke Alder

He was the greatest loser I'd ever met. He wasn't much, though small: just an average executive in a an average company, He would blend with anat furniture..

He had neither looks, nor money nor presence, But one day, something happened in his life, he offered a pretty lady a ride to the city centre. One ride became two rides and two became three and three became frequent. Frequent became a date and date became plural. he was way out of his league, but she liked him and wanters to help him.

She's one of those types of women who see a life mission in a relationship - a Mother Theresa type- one who likes to give herself to lives. It made her life meaningful, purposeful and abundant. She saw kindness as a duty. She felt she could help him and make something out of his life.

As she wanted in return was love and affection. He had met a lady beyond his dreams.
There were visible transformations in his life. She showed him the way to top, and helped him begin the arduous step towards the ladder, SHE MADE HIM BELIEVE IN HIMSELF, made him grow. There was a bounce in his steps and each day his confidence grew. In addition, he got a life. They went to the movies, had fun and began to see possibilities.

In retrospect he NEVER really knew her, didn't understand where she was coming from. If only he had taken time to know her.

She was the product of an abused childhood: she experience too much too young, Growing up was tough, too tough. To forge ahead, she became an abstraction. She chose not to see herself, her circumstances and her beauty.

She chose to be a giver and her forgiver, doing a reverse atonement for what she suffered. The deprived had become the atoner. And with that she became beautiful on the inside. All she lacked she was willing to give, save one.

Because of her past, she was afraid of submitting herself to a man. To win her HEART, you needed to win her TRUST. THAT UNWILLINGNESS TO SUBMIT HER LIFE TO THE UNDESERVING MADE HER A BIT CONTROLLING. ITS A VERY SUBDLE THING BUT SHE DOES LIKE TO BE IN CONTROL.

She's afraid of losing control of her heart, afraid of being messed up by a SOUL RAPIST, afraid of the future, afraid of suffered twice in a life lifetime. But if you can get over her initial doubts and suspicion, you probably have one of the most devoted woman a man can have.. She has the most beautiful heart. She's just afraid of commitment. Because she's afraid of facing the reality of love, she has the tendency to fall in blindly and pour her emotions into a relationship, and pour her energy into a man, despite herself.

She's earthly, with a pronunciation hip structure that manages to stay within beautiful bounds, she loves fun, is blessed with prodigious energy, likes to go out but not party. Instead she organises private parties shopping spree with friends and colleges, most times looking for the mundane, many times looking for nothing.

She's definitely the girl he needs in his life, Driven, Honest, Totally Altruistic, with load she's been shedding all her adult life. She liked him, was willing to commit to him, if he took his time, going steady, l=just like he got her. You know the adage about boiling frogs? You turn up the heat gradually or else she leaps. But he's not a good student of his own history. She was a girl above his reach who gave herself to him. And then he lost her: lost the most beautiful thing he possessed.

WHAT HAPPENED YOU ASK???

WELL..., He scared her. He asked her to resign from work..
Step down her life...
Change her career to an 8 - 3 job,
Take care of a family, they don't even have yet.

Of course, it was his formula for controlling her. A formula that is as rustic as his deeply entrenched nativity. And he justified it with the fact that his MOTHER stepped down her career for his father. He compromised the very reason he fell in love with her. he fell in love with her for precisely the reason that SHE'S NOT HIS MOTHER. And now he wants to marry his mother..

THE DOOR TO THE CAGE WAS STILL OPEN... OHH SHE FLEW OUT OF THE CAGE NEVER TO BE HAD BY HIM AGAIN..

THAT IS THE STORY OF THE GREATEST LOSER I EVER MET...
